Of gardens and flashcards
There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.
EM’s vocabulary and understanding of the world around her is growing by leaps and bounds. My resolve and desire to integrate Greek culture, customs and language into our lives also grows stronger with each passing day. My most recent aquisition to assist me with these loftly goals - flashcards from Greekbaby.com

Wow, those are so neat! And speaking of Greek culture and customs -- I am reading a marvelous book right now about Greek-Americans: Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. My guess is that you've probably read it, but if you haven't, make it the next book on your to-read list -- it's absolutely amazing!
Big hugs to you, my friend!

Those are really cute! How old is she? I used to have some Greek friends who went to what they called Greek School, I think on Saturday or Sunday. it seemed church-related, but they also learned the language there.
